Dement Neurocogn Disord 2020;19(2):39-53. 대한치매학회의 국제학술대회 IC-KDA 2019의 1주년을 맞아 당시 논의되었던 주제들을 요약, 정리하였습니다.
  치매 연구의 동향을 다양한 관점에서 이해하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대됩니다.
• Clinical Aspects of Neurobahavioral Symptoms of Dementia YoungSoon Yang, Nagaendran Kandiah, SangYun Kim, Yong Tae Kwak. Dementia Neurocogn Disord 2020;19(2):54-64 258명의 독거노인(정상인지 210명, 인지저하 48명)에게 8주 동안 일주일에 한 번씩 home-visiting cognitive intervention을 시행한 결과 MMSE, GDS (geriatric depression scale), K-IADL, SSS (social support scale) 점수가 유의하게 향상되었습니다.
• Amyloid Depositions and Small Vessel Disease in Patients with Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy: a Case Series Yun Jeong Hong, Si Baek Lee, Seong Hoon Kim, et al. Dementia Neurocogn Disord 2020:19(2):74-76. Probable CAA로 진단된 5례를 통해 아밀로이드 PET 양성 여부에 따른 임상/뇌영상 특성을 제시하였습니다. 요약하면, 아밀로이드 PET 양성인 CAA 환자는 치매 또는 발작으로 발현하였고 superficial siderosis와 해마 위축을 주로 동반하였던데 반해, 아밀로이드 PET 음성인 CAA 환자들은 급성 뇌경색으로 발현하고 미세출혈 및 열골성 뇌경색을 주로 동반하는 것으로 보고하였습니다.
